StoreCashier Pro modules (previews)
StoreCashier Pro is a separate, commercial plugin for growing businesses. To help you decide whether you need it, every Pro module is visible inside the free plugin: its screens are shown as read-only previews of the Pro interface, marked with a PRO badge in the navigation and a short notice at the top of the page.
Previews are for browsing only. They show your existing StoreCashier data where it exists (and clean empty states otherwise), and buttons that would save or process something open a short dialog that explains the feature is part of StoreCashier Pro. The free plugin contains no locked or trial code and no time limits: the Pro features themselves are only included in StoreCashier Pro. Everything listed in the sections above works fully in the free edition.
The following modules are shown as previews:
- Advanced POS (PRO) – split payments, hold and recall, multiple carts, drafts and quotations, coupons, shipping charges, cash register sessions, calculator, keyboard shortcuts, quick-add customer and credit sales

FAQ
-
Does StoreCashier require WooCommerce?
-
Yes. StoreCashier works with WooCommerce products, variations, orders, taxes and stock.
-
Does the POS create real WooCommerce orders?
-
Yes. Every POS sale is created as a WooCommerce order, so online and counter sales share the same products, stock and order history.
-
Can I use a barcode scanner?
-
Yes. Any scanner that types into the browser works. Scan into the POS search field or the purchase item search; products are matched by barcode, SKU, name or product ID.
-
Can I sell products that are out of stock?
-
Yes, if you want to. The “Overselling” setting in Settings Orders & POS is on by default. Turn it off to limit sales to the quantity available; the rule is checked in the register and again when the sale is saved.
-
Does it track IMEI or serial numbers?
-
Yes. Enable tracking on a product, enter the numbers on purchases or opening stock, and choose the exact unit when you sell it in the POS or on a WooCommerce order. The IMEI / Serial Number report shows the full history of every unit.
-
Can I print receipts, invoices and barcode labels?
-
Yes. Receipts (80 mm) and A4 invoices use your logo and business details. Barcode labels can be printed on several sheet sizes or continuous rolls.
-
Can I manage more than one location?
-
The free edition manages one business location. Multiple locations with separate stock and stock transfers are part of StoreCashier Pro.
-
I already have a WooCommerce store. Is it safe to install?
-
Yes. StoreCashier mirrors your existing products and can import existing customers and sales history without creating duplicate stock movements. Your WooCommerce data is not removed.
-
Is it compatible with HPOS?
-
Yes. StoreCashier declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage and uses the WooCommerce order APIs.
-
Can my staff use the POS without full admin access?
-
Yes. Turn on “POS Staff” for a WordPress user in Store Staff: they can use the register, view and add sales, view products and view or add customers. You can also limit the payment accounts each staff member may use.
-
What happens if I upgrade to StoreCashier Pro?
-
StoreCashier Pro is a separate plugin. Activating it deactivates the free edition and continues with the same StoreCashier tables and settings, so all data is kept. If you later go back to the free edition, your data is still there.
-
What are the screens marked PRO?
-
They are read-only previews of StoreCashier Pro modules, so you can see how each one looks and works before deciding to upgrade. You can open and browse them, but saving or processing is only available in StoreCashier Pro. They never change your data.
-
Does StoreCashier send any data to external services?
-
No. StoreCashier does not track usage and does not contact external services. All scripts, styles and images are bundled with the plugin.
-
Is my data removed when I deactivate or delete the plugin?
-
Deactivation never removes data. When the plugin is deleted, StoreCashier tables are removed only if you enabled “Delete all StoreCashier data when the plugin is deleted” in Settings Business & General, and never while StoreCashier Pro is installed on the site. WooCommerce products and orders are never touched.
-
Where are the Leads, Expenses and Income screens?
-
In version 1.3.0 these workflows moved to StoreCashier Pro. They are still listed in the navigation as previews, and records you created with earlier versions stay in your database and are shown there. Editing them again requires StoreCashier Pro.

StoreCashier Pro also tracks serials on returns, transfers, adjustments, manufacturing and repair.
